Allan is Principal of FGI Capital Partners’ Asia-based, global macro fund. He has spent over 21 years in Japan/Asia focused primarily on directional trading strategies in fixed income and foreign exchange markets. Over half of his career was spent at Greenwich NatWest Tokyo (now RBS Securities) where he was Head of Proprietary and Rates Trading; Allan also ran the Principal Strategies group at Merrill Lynch Tokyo and traded within Deutsche Bank’s Proprietary Trading Group. Immediately prior to joining OGI Capital Partners, Allan was Head of Global Macro Trading at Lehman Brothers Tokyo (and Nomura Principal Investments Asia, Hong Kong). He graduated from University of Scranton with a major in Biology/Premedical Studies and attended Thomas Jefferson Medical College.
